Boxes

Corrugated and cardboard boxes are most common types usually used for international goods transit and sending food items respectively.  Unlike ordinary cardboard boxes, corrugated cardboard boxes are known for their added strength as they are made of different layers of solid paperboard. In the case of large shipments, wooden boxes are used instead of corrugated boxes. They are long lasting and offer ideal storage space as they usually come in big sizes when compared to common shipping boxes. Above all, wooden boxes can be recycled and reused.

Pallets

Pallets allow transport of goods on a flat structure, by securing them with straps using stretch and shrink wraps. Usually, it can be lifted using either a forklift or pallet jack. Considered a highly efficient and affordable method to handle, transport and storage of goods, it ensures that goods are kept in good condition during transit. Wooden pallets are most common, but depending on the requirement, it can be made of plastic or metal.

Tubes

Where important documents are to be sent, Tubes are the most sought-after packaging solution. A shipping tube is made of rigid and thick cardboard with caps at its ends. Able to protect large documents and prevent it from folding, parcel tubes allow rolling of the document inside. Shipping tubes are economical and are widely used for transit of academic documents, artworks, charts, posters, maps and so forth.

Envelopes

Envelopes can be in different materials namely paper, plastic or made with both as in the case of padded envelopes. Padded envelopes are the strongest as against paper or plastic ones. They come in different sizes and measurements. Also known as cushioned mailers, padded envelopes are reinforced with the protective padding to provide enhanced shock absorption during shipment. Padding is provided in the form of additional paper or foam on the inside of the envelopes. Ideal for transporting delicate goods, electronics, books and jewelry, as it can protect the items inside even if the package gets subjected to poor handling during shipment.
